Board of Directors
Purdue Research Foundation (PRF) is a nonprofit corporation governed by board of directors that meets quarterly to manage the business and affairs of the corporation, to prescribe and enforce policies, and to guide the corporation in achieving its objectives. An annual board meeting is held each November.

The members of the corporation are comprised of a 15-member board of directors, which is partitioned into five groups. The first group consists of the president of Purdue University and the second group consists of three members of the university’s board of trustees. The three remaining groups consist of directors elected by the other members based on staggered three-year terms.

An executive committee, consisting of six members of the board of directors, meets regularly to address immediate concerns, including general oversight regarding questions that affect the policy, property and functions of the foundation. The actions of the executive committee, however, are subject to the control and direction of the board. The president is the executive committee’s ex-officio member and chairman.

Other standing committees of the board include a nominating committee, a compensation committee, and a finance/audit committee.

Corporate Officers
Purdue Research Foundation prepares its budget in consultation with the president of Purdue. The corporation’s fiscal year ends on June 30.

All of the foundation’s corporate officers serve one-year terms with the exception of the President/CEO, the Vice President for Audit and Professional Relations, and the Vice-President for Research.
